“The Shambhala teachings are founded on the premise that there is basic human wisdom that can help to solve the world’s problems. This wisdom does not belong to any one culture or religion, nor does it come only from the West or the East. Rather, it is a tradition of human warriorship that has existed in many cultures at many times throughout history.” From Shambhala The Sacred Path of the Warrior

The class will be taught by Susan Taney and Sal DeMaio. Susan Taney has been a student of the Shambhala/Buddhism since 1979. She currently lives in St. Johnsbury and is a Nurse Practitioner at the Concord Health Center.  Sal DeMaio has been a student of the Shambhala Teachings since 1988. He lives in Barnet with his family and works in St. Johnsbury as a real estate appraiser.

There is a $25.00 suggested donation to the St. Johnsbury Shambhala Center and participants should plan to have a copy of the book.
