In
Mahayana Buddhism, Vipashyana is seen as an
analytical examination of the nature of things
that lead to insight into the true nature of
the world -- emptiness.
The
Friday night talk will be on
Shambhala-Buddhism and the community is
invited whether you will be attending the
rest of the week-end or not. A reception
will follow.
The
Saturday and Sunday program will be from 9
a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost for the three days is
$50.00

The
general prerequisite for attending the weekend
is that you have attended one of the Shamatha
week-ends presented in the last year or so.
However Acharya Ferguson has suggested that if
you are willing to read Being Human by the
Sakyong sometime soon, then you are invited to
participate in this program. The book can be
purchased at Samadhi. We will have copies for
sale at the center.
Gaylon Ferguson has been a student
and teacher of Buddhism for many
years.
